Is anyone else having problem with their reading list on Blogger?
For the last two days, I can only see one post in my reading list. It changes based on the most recent post written by someone I'm following, but no matter what I can do, I only see one post.
I haven't had that problem, but Blogger kept crashing my Chrome browser on my iPad on Sunday so that may have been part of it too. Are you using Chrome or another browser?
It has been a problem for a full week. I first noticed it last Monday the 16. I went a day or two then checked the "complaints" forum or whatever they call their problems forum. They apparently are aware of the problem and are "working" on it. I saw one "solution" that mentioned something about being in some sort of "draft mode" which I had never used but my account had been automatically switched to it (To shut it off: Blogger Options (from the gear symbol) "edit user settings" General->Use Blogger Draft Make sure box is clicked empty) I cleared the box signed out of blogger shut off browser (Firefox) turned browser back on logged back in and it appeared to be OK. For a day or two. Then it went back to the list being messed up, but draft thing is still off.
When you are logged in to blogger dashboard check the url address if it says "http://draft..." (or https with the word draft in the address) then you need to check the setting and make sure it is off. Even if you never touched the dang thing Like I had never changed the dang thing. Didn't even know about it.
At least people can actually blog and make posts updating their blogs. Others can't tell who has updated so blog viewing is much slower right now.
I noticed something different. If I'm on someones blog for too long I get redirected to an add. Usually I go to night Owl and use his blog roll to read all the blogs. But if I stay there too long it takes me to an add and I have to watch a video before I get Greg back. Either a new Blogger feature or Greg sold some advertising.
I haven't seen this post because it was not the latest at the time of my logon!! though it seems to be fixed this morning! (probly just jinxed the crap out of it now!!)
Yeah, I had the same problem the last few days & even delayed some posts, since I was worried that nobody would end up seeing them. It appears to be fixed now, though,.
I guess I picked a good time to take a break. Not sure if my blog had this issue... but based on most of these comments, it wouldn't surprise me if I had the same problem.
Mine has been doing the same thing. Looks like an issue on their side.
ReplyDeleteYep it's been happening to me for the last 2 days. Get it together Blogger!
ReplyDeleteIt's happening to me as well. Hope blogger gets it fixed soon.
ReplyDeleteYEP, ME TOO

ReplyDeleteI've only had this happen on Wrigley Wax's blog.
DeleteI haven't sold anything. I've never had that happen with anyone else's blog.
DeleteThat's odd. I'm not having that problem, and I also use Chrome. Maybe the key is to NEVER post...
