September Contest Reminder

First off, if you missed the September Contest post, it was up early yesterday evening.  Check it out if you feel the urge.

Did you see Jurickson Profar's MLB debut last night?

He's the second youngest player to ever homer in his first at-bat and then he tacked on a double in his next plate appearance.

Not a bad first impression Profar, not bad at all.

  3. I saw him this summer at Frisco. The people behind me in the seats were really talking him up. Looks like they were on to something.

  5. It was a pretty good shot. He reminds me of a young Alfonso Soriano.

  9. I have Jurickson on my dynasty fantasy baseball team. I'm stoked!
Is there any possible way he's an everyday player next year with Andrus and Kinsler up the middle? Maybe Kinsler to OF?

  10. Jurickson Profar sounds like the name of a sci-fi villain. I kept hoping they'd promote him to AAA Round Rock before the majors so I could get a look at him. Alas, no dice. Although the season is over today, and I don't know if I would've made it down there anyways. Wasn't sure if he'd make it up there with Andrus/Kinsler up the middle.

  13. Seeing a guy homer in his first at-bat is one of my single favorite events in baseball. Congrats to Mr. Profar!

  15. I'm in a Fantasy Keeper league, and I was lucky enough to snag him. Here's to hoping he's someone I have for a long time.
