Checking the Tote Board

I grew up watching the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. In our small town, we used to go door to door collecting money in cans for Jerry's Kids. We would watch the telethon and wait for those tote board updates.

Well, I'm here to update the MCG Tradeathon Tote Board. I have one more trade set up for Thursay (I think) and then I'll be getting down to the business of trading all the cards I've acquired. Feel free to email me if you're interested in getting involved. You can check out the original post here.

First up, I made two trades with people outside the Tradeathon. These were both offers that I couldn't resist and they added additional cards to our pool.

I traded a 1986 Pete Rose for two cards: a 1976 Dennis Blair and a 1987 Pete Rose.

The second trade netted 6 cards for a 2009 Mariano Rivera. I was offered, and quickly accepted, a 2002 Alfonso Soriano, 2005 Bronson Arroyo, 2005 Grady Sizemore, 2006 Adam Dunn, 2007 Michael Young and 2007 Cleveland Indians Team Card.

Now for two more entries in the contest.

Derek, from Tomahawk Chopping-Cardboard and More threw is hat in the ring. In exchange for the dreaded 2007 Kris Benson, he sent the following:

1972 Roger Repoz

1980 Baltimore Orioles Team Card
1986 Dwight Gooden All-Star

Next up was the one and only Collective Troll. I sent him a 2006 Adam Dunn and he sent the following:

1979 Joe Niekro
1983 John Tudor
2005 Hank Blalock

According to my sketchy accounting, that makes 68 cards in the lot. There might be a couple of additional cards that I've unlocked in the days since we started. I'm hoping to get one more trade done Thursday afternoon if it works out for a certain person and any others that might want it before then.

I've got an idea for the randomization that I'll run by all the entrants before I do it.
