Derek Holland just pitched his 4th shutout of the season. Only one other pitcher has done that this season. Some guy named Cliff Lee.
Holland was amazing today. He only threw 95 pitches (69 strikes-26 balls) while giving up 4 singles. Three of the four singles were infield hits. He had one walk to go with his 5 Ks and more importantly, the Rangers won 3-0.
Now all we need is another Angels loss...
Can you explain Holland to me? Some days he's lights out, and some days his light is out. The good has been outweighing the bad lately though!
