August Contest

I turn a year older in a few weeks. This fact led to a recent "pre-birthday" birthday gift from my mother-in-law.

As some of you long time readers know, my MIL will occasionally buy cards for me. She knows that I'm partial to discount blasters, but I had casually mentioned to her that I would like some of the new A&G rack packs for my birthday. The only words that registered with her were "new" and "packs". That's how I ended up with 6 Value (Really?) Rack Packs of 2011 Bowman Platinum.



I wouldn't even give BP a second look on my own, but she bought it so I accepted it. I told her she shouldn't have spent so much because I know those go for $8.98 each at Wally World. She said she didn't pay that much and showed me the receipt. They rang up for $4.98 each. I know that's not right and asked her about it again. She said it rang up $8.98, but the price tag on the hanger said $4.98 so that's what they charged her when she questioned the price. Good for her I guess.

I opened all 6 Value Packs which have three, four card packs each, plus 3 purple refractors. That gave me 90 cards in all: 72 from the packs and 18 purple refractors. Now for the fun part, the contest.

I sorted all 90 cards into teams. All you have to do is guess the ONE team that got ZERO cards in the packs. That's right, one team didn't have a single card out of the 90. Whoever guesses the right team will win and if more than one person is correct, I'll randomize their names.

What's the prize Mr. PATP? You'll get ALL the 2011 BP cards that I pulled from your favorite team + an unopened 2011 A&G Rack Pack.

The rest of these cards will be up for trade after the contest is over.
