Last night I went to my last Rangers game of the season. The Rangers made the trip worthwhile as they posted a 9-1 win over the Indians. The whole night was capped off by this guy's grand slam in the 8 run 4th inning.
The power show also included homers from Mike Napoli and Ian Kinsler, who now leads the team with 29 homeruns.
Derek Holland won his 14th game, pitching 7 strong innings and giving up only one earned run.
The Rangers lead over the Angels is still 3 games and there may be more good news on the horizon for Dallas Area sportsfans.
It is being reported that the Dallas Stars may declare bankruptcy today. That may not mean much to you, but the guy who owns the Stars is the same guy that owned the Rangers prior to Nolan Ryan's goup buying the team last year. Getting out from under the ownership of Tom Hicks has been a huge plus for the Rangers.
Hopefully, once the Stars are rid of Hicks, there will be more reasons to celebrate and maybe another Stanley Cup in the Stars' future.
