Play at the Plate 21: Eight Men Out Special

Due to vacation last week, we'll be going with this Eight Men Out play at the plate I pulled from one of those awful $20 re-pack blasters they sell at Wally World. It was the same blaster I used for a contest a long time ago.

The back of the card reads:

"Game Five, Comiskey Field. Heine Groh (that's a name for you GSNHOF) races in from third on Felsch's error, Schalk catches the throw at the plated and dives at the sliding runner. The Umpire spread his arms wide 'Safe.'"

It also informs us that Gordon Clapp is portraying Ray Schalk.

I should be back to normal posting Monday. Or not!

**This post was sheduled sometime last week**
