Well, amid all the scheduled posts (starting last Friday), we made the drive to Colorado. Tonight we're going to see these guys play...hopefully. As of right now (Friday morning) there is a 30% chance of rain tonight.
I've never been to a National League game before so hopefully I won't go into shock seeing the pitchers bat. My oldest son and I are really looking forward to the game. Mom and the youngest son are tolerating the trip.
This will only be my third city to see a game in so far. I've seen games in Seattle, in the old Kingdome, and of course back in Texas at both the old and new venues.
Many thanks to Shellie over at the Middle Child blog (the link thing won't work again) for giving me some tips on tickets and where to go for autos.
Hopefully I'll have a great story of how I caught an Albert Pujols ball off the forehead and got an autographed bat out of the deal. Or something like that.
Enjoy the game - we expect a full game report when you get back.
