I picked up 10 more packs from the local big box store. I picked 5 packs from each of the gravity feeders hoping to get one code card in each stack and it worked out. I got two code cards, one 1951 Blue Back I needed and really beat the odds by pulling 5 Turkey Reds. Those are supposed to fall 1:4 packs so I doubled up.
I know you're just dying to see what amazing cards I unlocked. Here they are in all their glory.
1987 Tony Fernandez. Well.....that was disappointing, but I've still got one more to go.
1990 Don Aase. Wow, I think I was somehow transported to New York where I inadvertently got some packs meant for Night Owl.
Oh well, the fun of entering the codes and seeing that card pop up was somewhat dampened...but that doesn't mean I won't be doing it again. When does Series 2 drop!?
I'm giving myself a few days so I can come down off the high of redeeming 1985 Topps cards.
ReplyDeleteBy Friday I'll be ready for another "hit." It's quite addicting. Well, only because every other person is redeeming 50-year-old cards.
I will also be waiting til the weekend to grab a few more packs. I have completed series one so I am beating a dead horse so to speak. I hope I at least get some of the inserts I still need.
