Bill Lee pitched 5 1/3 innings for the independent Brockton Rox. He got the win after a good outing. He gave up two runs on five hits while striking out one and walking one.
Bill "Spaceman" Lee is 63 years young!
Obviously, this is NOT the way Bill Lee looks today. You can check out the wiki page for Lee to get a small glimpse into his life. He's written a number of books that are entertaining to say the least. He's out there...way out there!
A former colleague of mine interviewed Lee while working for my paper. I wish I took that assignment.
