I schedule about 99% of my posts. If I'm doing two posts that day, the first goes up at 7:30 AM central time and the other goes up at 5:30 PM central time. I've noticed the last three days that my posts are not posting as scheduled.
Being the crafty techno guy that I am (I am NOT that guy), I finally went to the Blogger forum and noticed a thread of other bloggers having the same issue.
The good news is that it's been reported up the chain of command to "Google Engineers". That sounds important. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.
I've been having the same problem. I have my posts scheduled for 9 AM and for the past two days they haven't posted. I've had to go and do it manually. Blogger had the same problem a couple summers ago and it took a couple weeks to get fixed. I hope this time it doesn't take as long.
ReplyDeleteHere's the funny thing...I have four blogs. They're all scheduled in advance. Three of them run like clockwork, but the Vintage Sportscards blog has been having that issue. Happened twice this week.
ReplyDeleteYep, just started my blog a couple weeks ago and tried scheduling for the first time this week because I was traveling. Not only did my posts not go up, everything I wrote and my uploaded pics were gone!
ReplyDeleteI scheduled one Monday night that failed to post (I just had to go manually post it out of drafts), but last night's worked, so hopefully it's all worked out now.
ReplyDeleteI just tried to schedule one and with the new blogger layout I got confused. They have a calendar to select the day. But their calendar goes: M T W Th F Sa Su
ReplyDeleteI selected the 6th in that sequence, because my calendars start on Sunday.
I haven't found a place to change that.
Quick update....today's post went up at 9:00 as scheduled. Hopefully they've got it fixed.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's fixed because I've had problems with scheduled posts as well as updates to my lists of favorite blogs.
ReplyDeleteWorking fine for me. My post that just went up about 18 minutes ago was scheduled.
ReplyDeleteOh, and having it reported to the Google techs isn't as helpful as you might think it would be, based on my past experience. Unfortunately....
My noon post didn't go up. It's really sad.
ReplyDeleteMy 7:00 am PDT post, didn't.
ReplyDeleteI know nobody here knows me, but I was looking for more info about this problem. It still keeps happening to me... very frustrating!
