I pulled a Carlos Gonzalez auto out of 2012 Gypsy Queen, not a huge card but a nice pull for a Rockies fan.
Definitely the authentic Cy Seymour tobacco card I received thanks to the generosity of a fellow collector. (Which I recently blogged about.)
My Ginter original is probably the best card, or else the Bryce Harper auto redemption (that I immediately sold).
Babe Ruth jersey relic purchased off ebay.
1964 Topps #541. Not naming names because it'll be in a future post and I wanna keep it a surprise.
Bought it last Saturday. '56 Duke Snider.Best pull? Probably an auto of Alcides Escobar out of a pack of Opening Day (not easy to do).
Umm Chris Getz 1/1 Printing Plate via Japanhttp://arbitrary-crap.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/getz-pc-update.html
My best pull was a 2012 Ginter Roger Federer auto. My best card that I am keeping is a 2012 Ginter David Wright relic (still dirty).
Best pull was '12 Topps Archives Yu Darvish Auto.http://tilnextyear-tom.blogspot.com/2012/05/topps-archives-2012-box-1.htmlMy favorite was the "well loved" '78 Molitor & Trammell rookie card I traded for on my baseball trip.http://tilnextyear-tom.blogspot.com/2012/07/june-baseball-trip-1978-topps-finds.html
A Ginter George W. Bush auto was by far the best pull of my collecting life. Not sure I could pull something better than a signature of an ex-president.
This Jon Jay Triple Threads auto/jersey I got from a reader:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--2N-dZPoI_E/T-qYNx4d3dI/AAAAAAAAR2g/kFt49VSEFTE/s1600/jjay11toppstriplethreadsautojersey.jpg
A Hanley Ramirez Jersey relic tagged " El Nino " #6 of 9 at an out of town LCS..$4
A number of extremely short-printed cards for my Ryan Getzlaf Dominion Master Set, which have yet to be posted. But here's a posted one: a black 1/1 printing plate of Russell Martin from '08 UD Spectrum Swatches, which I needed for the rainbow I'm working on.http://plaschkethysweaterisargyle.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-200th-russell-martin-card-is.html
I had a huge pull from my A&G boxes, but I haven't posted it yet (though I have sold it), so I'll go with my Bryan Randall 2005 Bowman Gold 1/1.
Easily the best card for me so far this year is the Gwynn Auto i pulled from my A&G box.
Acquired through a quickly placed, well-timed, comment claim, a la Dayf...Most definitely the best card I've gotten this year, a very fricking cool, hand painted, Philly Phanatic!! I've blogged about it three times now:here:http://dawgbonesaphilliesphan.blogspot.com/2012/05/phanatical-posting.htmlhere:http://dawgbonesaphilliesphan.blogspot.com/2012/07/10000th-contest-entry.htmland here:http://dawgbonesaphilliesphan.blogspot.com/2012/07/more-fuji-esque-ness-la-dayf.html
The Nolan Ryan mini auto I got in Community Gum's case break of Archive for $20!
My Dante Bichette bat relic that I got in a trade with Night Owl. It is one of the best cards in my Rockies collection.
I scored one of those Basketball Panini Booklets, featuring 7 different jersey swatches, reading "Forward".
I couldn't decide the Virdon is the coolest but expensive. So since the Yaz was free I think it wins.http://thoughtsandsox.blogspot.com/2012/05/major-addition-to-player-collection.html?m=1http://thoughtsandsox.blogspot.com/2012/05/not-quite-ordinary.html?m=1
Mine was a Miguel Cabrera auto out of a pack of Gypsy Queen from Wal Mart.
A Funmi Jimoh commemorative pin that I pulled from a Olympic blaster last week. 1:147 odds.
My favorite card that I've pulled is probably Rickey Henderson base in this years A&G...nothing special, just a really nice baseball card :)
i didnt pull it, but the boys over at community gum pulled it for me in a case break of topps archives. a redemption card for the fan favorites sandy koufax auto. topps says it's to be delivered in august....AUGUST !!!
1963 Fleer Joe Adcock.
Carl Yaz Auto/Bat card see linkhttp://dionsipautosonly.blogspot.com/2012/06/carl-yastrzemski.html
No autos yet this year, so I'll say the Gary Carter Retired Number manupatch from Series 2, shown at the end of this post:http://tenetsofwilson.blogspot.com/2012/07/i-won-play-at-plates-june-contest.htmlAnd I came to that conclusion honestly; only after I copied the link in here did I remember it was from a previous contest of yours.
1906 Fan Craze Irving Young, no doubt about it. It's in just awesome shape for a 106 year old card. I have a post coming up in a weel of so.
Nothing fancy but I was really happy to finally pick up a 1977-79 Sportscaster Bobby Bonds.
2012 Bowman Chrome Josh Thole RC Autograph.
I just added autographs of Charlie Lau and and Arnie Portocarreroof the Baltimore Orioles. What's the big deal? They both died more than 20 years ago.
Definitely my Willie Mays auto
I picked up my first Kaline auto off of eBay, and then a few months later Carl Crawford Cards sent my second Kaline. Helluva year.
2011 Topps Marquee Chris Young Titanic Threads Auto #2/10. Sweet card and I got it for a great price!
