August Contest: You choose

I'm going on vacation the rest of this week so I can help my brother in law move.  I know, some guys have all the fun.  As I write this post, it's 3:23 AM and I'm trying to schedule Gint-A-Cuffs posts, contest posts and anything else I can squeeze in for the week.  I won't be able to do post anything fresh, unless I can manage to get in an answer to Fuji's contest questions.

The August contest will consist of one question/comment post per day between now and Sunday.  You can choose to comment on as many of the questions as you wish, with each comment earning you one entry in the contest.  You know I like to keep these things simple, so I don't imagine the questions will require too much work on your part.  I'll randomize a winner from all entries and post the results on Monday morning.

The "You Choose" part comes in where the prize is concerned.  The winner can choose a Value Pack of 2012 Allen & Ginter or a Value Pack of 2012 Bowman Platinum.  These Value Packs are the ones with three packs plus either bonus gold minis (A&G) or bonus purple parallels (BP).

Any questions?  I generally post my contest stuff in the morning, but the rest of these will be going up at 5:30 PM Central Time so don't forget to look for them if you're a morning person.

For the first entry, tell me which of the prizes you would prefer, A&G or Bowman Platinum.

As always, thanks again for your support and good luck.

  7. Not a huge fan of either, but I really don't like the non-sports players in Ginter, so I'll go with BP.

  12. Platinum because I need more light in the living room.

  13. A&G because I haven't opened either and the A&G would be more fun for me! SO THERE. (I don't know why I took a defensive stance. It's nearly 1AM.)

  15. I have loved A&G every year but this year's cards don't do anything for me. I'm going to have to go with Bowman Platinum.

  16. Well, I'd love to open some Platinum just for something new but I'm putting together the Ginter set so I'd have to do the prudent thing and choose A&G :)

Plus I'd like to see what those gold parallels look like

  17. Gotta go with Ginter, not a huge Bowman Platinum fan.

  18. My blogger eyes hurt from looking at so much digital Ginter, so my vote is for Bowman Platinum.

  22. Can't go wrong with either but I will lean toward Ginter.

  23. Since I already have the Ginter team set, I'll say Platinum. It actually doesn't look THAT bad this year.

  24. I'd go with the A&G as they are generally better for autographs. I haven't seen this year's Platinum yet, though, so you never know.
