Real life

I don't know why I can't get this picture to turn the right way.  It's another frustrating Blogger moment.

You might be looking at my last 2012 card purchase.  I love Chrome, but I don't know what might be going on when that comes out.  I'm still trying to get together the many trade packages I need to send out, but real life is jumping up in a big way this week.

My wife has doctor's appointments Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week.  I don't want to go into too much detail, but she's having some tests done.  I'm not one to worry about stuff that's out of my control, but I'm worried this time.  Mostly because she talked me into the worst case scenario, which I would have avoided if at all possible.

I'm still working this week so I may be around and may have some posts if I can think of something.  I know I need the distraction.  My hope and prayer is that by this time next week I can report all is well and be back to my regular shallow pursuits.  I definitely want to put some of my energy into the next round for Nachos Grande's contest.  That has actually been a fun way to look at cards.

Until next time...

  1. My dad recently sold me on the worst case scenario, which was also the most likely scenario. He was way off, as it turned out, and he's perfectly fine, now. Stay positive, it's much more rewarding than dwelling on what might happen.

I hope everything works out for you and your wife!

  6. Very best wishes for you and yours. I recently went through a similar situation with my better half. It turned out okay, and I am sure your situation will, too.

Your post made me smile. Rest assured, the evidence continues to mount that they, the fairer sex, are all wired the same way.

Hang in there and take care of each other.

  13. Having dealt with a medical issue framed in terms of "worst case scenario" myself this year, I understand your feelings (and the need to post, although I didn't feel like it at ALL at the time).

Of course, prayers and well-wishes from me, too.
