Normally I feel like a fairly intelligent guy. Until it comes to computers. I need a little help because I'm a computer dunce. I follow many, many, many blogs that give me the option to "follow blog" at the top of the page. The problem I have is I don't know how to follow many of the excellent blogs that don't give me that option. There are so many I can't even list them, but I usually go through someone else's blog roll to get to them.
The question is, how do I get them on my blogroll? I use a shared computer for most of my blogging/reading so I don't know if subscribing to the RSS feed works. I don't want those blogs just "showing" up for the other users.
Any tips or answers would be appreciated. I know they always say there is no such thing as a dumb question, but maybe this is it.
Thanks blogospherians!
It took me a LONG time to figure out how to do that... On your blogger dash board there is an option to add blogs to your blog list. You can either choose from blogs you are following OR enter the URL one at a time for wordpress, etc. blogs.
ReplyDeleteall "blogger" blogs along the very top of the screen have an option to follow.
ReplyDeletewordpress and others you have to use a feed for...
one thing that might help on a shared computer - once you've started "following" a blog (see above) that blog automatically appears in your "reading list" in your dashboard. basically you can click the orange "B" in the corner if you're logged in to blogger and it will take you to your dashboard where your reading list should show up below the blogs you are part of. you'll then have a list of anyone you're currently following whether or not you also have them linked on your blog or elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteI think you figured this one out...
